Survivors Brunch – April 29, 2012

The purpose of the brunch is to celebrate and bring ovarian cancer survivors together. The ladies and a guest are invited to relax, enjoy, connect with other survivors and interact with a distinguished panel of gynecologic oncologists.

The first brunch was held in 2007, and 17 survivors attended. Since that time we have outgrown two venues. Last year there were 197 participants and an audience of approximately 250 is anticipated this year.

Sponsorship checks must be in the WOCA office by March 5, 2012.

Nancy’s Run Rock ‘N Stroll- September 15, 2012

This event generates funds for ovarian cancer education, awareness and to advocate for all of the women in Wisconsin. Fundraising is extremely important since we are the only organization in Wisconsin with this mission.

The first race was held in 2006 and since then we have steadily grown and have committed to a firm date and place in future years. This event occurs each year on the third Saturday in September at Greenfield Park. The last race was held on September 17, 2011 on a beautiful sunny day with over 800 people in attendance.

Sponsorship checks are due in the WOCA office by Friday, July 1, 2012.
